I was commended by the Portage assembly to the work of the Lord at Loloma Mission, Zambia in 1964. I arrived in Loloma in April 1965. Since then I have been nursing at a 120-bed hospital where there are opportunities each day to witness to patients and the relatives of their need for salvation. We thank the Lord for lives we have seen changed by the gospel.
I have also invited ladies to our home for a Bible class and a sewing class.
Another aspect of our ministry has been visitation in the surrounding communities and more outlying areas. We always take an exercised Zambian brother and sister along to read the Word of God and teach its truths to anyone interested.
In addition as a member of the Luvale Bible Revision team, we are working on a revision of the Luvale translation of the Bible. It is a great privilege to share in this important work.
Prayer is greatly valued in all aspects of His work in Zambia.
