Each Sunday at 6 pm there is a Gospel meeting held in the Gospel Hall. It begins with congregational singing of suitable hymns. Then the Scriptures are read and explained in order to make clear how a person can be saved from sin and made ready for heaven. “The Gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” (Romans 1:16). We are told to “Preach the Word” (2 Timothy 4:2); to “preach Christ crucified” (1 Corinthians 1:23). Usually, two men would share this hour with messages that are short and to the point. Although this meeting is primarily for the benefit of those who are not believers, Christians also enjoy hearing the oft-repeated story of Jesus and His saving love for us.
